*RTP word count does not include the greeting, comments such as: I agree, I like what you said, etc., repeating what your peer wrote, or in-text citations.
Identify a problem or issue you have encountered in your area of practice that would be appropriate for an evidence-based practice (EBP) project. Define EBP, why questions are written in PICO(T) format, what each initial stands for, and formulate a researchable question using PICO(T) format. Identify what type of questions it is. The question should be aimed at guiding clinical nursing practice and improving patient care. Do not write questions related to staffing issues, floating, communicating with physicians, etc.
Make sure you have a good understanding of what EBP is, as all questions are not appropriate for an EBP project.
Important:
The IP and RTP each require one reference from an English-titled, peer-reviewed NURSING journal less than 5 y/o. The IP and RTP references must be from different journal articles. The IP also requires a reference from the course textbook.
The articles posted in each unit are to facilitate your understanding of the topic and help you meet the identified learning objectives. They are not to be used as references for your course work. HOWEVER, FOR THIS WEEK ONLY: I want you to use the two journal articles below, which are posted in the Unit 1 module. Use one for the IP and the other one for the RTP (in addition to your course textbook).
