The written reflection should follow a complete reflective cycle using the reflective model of your choice and demonstrate achievement of learning outcomes 2 & 3:
LO2: Identify and reflect on people’s values and beliefs, diverse backgrounds, cultural characteristics, language requirements, needs and preferences, taking account of any need for adjustments in order to provide, promote, and where appropriate advocate for, non-discriminatory, person-centred and sensitive care.
LO3:Identify and explain a range of skills and strategies to communicate effectively with colleagues and people at all stages of life.
Your work should be structured using a reflective model. You can choose which model you use and will be asked in the professional discussion to give a rationale for your choice. The learning outcome should be included in the description element of the model and will not be included in your word count. The reflection should include supporting evidence to demonstrate the evidence underpinning your care and must be accompanied by a reference list.
