In a 2-page paper, address the importance of academic honesty as it relates to undergraduate nursing student writing.
(This assignment should not include graduate students, professional manuscript writing for publication or research).
Discuss the reasons why students plagiarize, the potential consequences of plagiarism, and how it can be avoided.
Requires a minimum of 2 references: one from an English titled, peer reviewed NURSING journal (less than 5 years-old)
which discusses practice in the U.S. and one from the APA Manual. Professional, governmental, or educational organizations
may be used, but as supplemental references only.
APA format required. Include a running head, separate title and references pages, page numbers, in-text citations, and level headings (when appropriate).
For this paper, use four level one headings (including the conclusion). See guidelines & rubric for written assignments.
*The maximum number of references = 4. Papers with more than the maximum number of will be returned to the student.
Do not use any quoted material–paraphrase instead.
References must be obtained via the Broward College online library. Papers with references that are not retrievable by the professor through the Broward College online library, or that use non-course textbooks, will be graded zero (0).
