This is a fairly open-ended question that makes room for a variety of possible responses – as you organize your thoughts, make sure to narrow in on a central argument (thesis) that is focused and unified and aligns with the 3 page scope of the assignment. Your essay needs to cite at least two of the sources.

- Begin with an introduction that funnels cohesively to your essay’s thesis. Avoid presenting a 3-part or list thesis; instead, narrow in on a unified central focus for your essay and present it clearly at the end of your introduction paragraph.
- Organize body paragraphs carefully by topic idea. Make sure your paragraphs are coherent and clearly organized with clear topic sentences, logical evidence, insightful commentary, and a concluding sentence that doesn’t merely repeat.
I wrote this introduction and my teacher liked the direction it was going in but towards I needed to state a concise thesis : The proliferation of technological advances has billions of people around the world living in an era like no other. Specifically, news coverage has evolved from the traditional newspaper to the ever-changing industry of television broadcasting and has a significant impact on how information is interpreted and disseminated in modern society. The democratization of information has given people the platform to not only expand their knowledge, but also challenge individuals to decipher what is the truth. Our understanding of truth has been profoundly impacted by the way we interact with information via different media platforms, mostly due to the deluge of information that makes it difficult to discern between false information and true content.
Don’t be too concerned about the Works Cited I will adjust that at the end .
