Instructions for individual critical scientific analysis: Dissection of a BA- Thesis.
In this assignment you will dissect a BA-Thesis of relevance to European Studies. The dissertation shall be analysed/dissected based on its problem formulation, use of theory, previous research and empirical material, the concrete research questions choice and application of methods, analysis and result/conclusion. You make use of a check list, which in a different form, is used for opposition on a BA-thesis.
Use the check list in an integrated and inspirational way, as long as you cover all the major parts in the task you do not need to formally answer all the specific sub-questions explicitly.
Note that this is an independent work. All forms of plagiarism will lead to a fail of the exam, and can result in a report to the disciplinary board of the university.
On this level our understanding is that you as a student know and can practice all basics in academic writing and structure such as references, quotations etcetera.
Formalities
Your dissection/analysis should be on 2200 words (+- 10%), Times New Roman, ‘Font Size: 11, 12 for heading. Line spacing 1, 5.
