Interactionist Approach and Innateness Hypothesis in vocabulary acquisition (Language acquisition))

This is a resubmition for an essay I’ve done that did not get a passing mark, I need this rewriten and/or edited using the feedback I got. I have included screenshots of the feedback I got on Turnitin. Pleasu these to complete this essay. I have also included the rubric and the original assessment instructions are bellow.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ASSESSMENT 1 – ESSAY (70%)
Complete a 3000(+-10%)-word critical essay outlining how theories and research in SLA can be applied to the language classroom in a specific language learning context chosen by you.
  1. Describe and critically evaluate the main features of two SLA theories.
  2. Apply each of the two theories to an aspect of language acquisition that you find interesting, e.g., vocabulary, pronunciation, error correction, listening comprehension, age of acquisition, etc.
  3. Critically appraise the relevance of the SLA theories to the chosen aspect of language acquisition and, citing appropriate research studies, outline how each would affect your decisions in the classroom.
  4. Write your conclusions, i.e., state what you have learnt from the process and how it might change any decisions you make.
 
Writing your Essay
Please follow the instructions below but also refer to the marking grid in the module handbook on pp.8-9. A separate marking grid can be downloaded from the assessment instruction section on the MyBeckett module.
Formatting
Use either Arial or Calibri and 11- or 12-point font size.
Use 1.5 spacing
Use and clearly identify headings, making use of the MS Word Styles function. This will allow you to use automatic contents pages and cross-references. There is training available through Skills4Learning or check out YouTube. This is a skill that will come in handy for your dissertation.
Use a clear referencing style. The university favours Harvard but for my essays you may also use APA7th. You might want to use a reference manager such as Endnote (available on university systems) or Mendeley. Again knowing how to use referencing software will help massively with writing your dissertation.

In the body of the assignment, you might want to include the following headings:
Abstract: You should write the abstract / executive summary last and use no more than ca. 250-300 words. Summarise the main findings by stating what area of SLA research/theory you have chosen and to which what aspect of language acquisition you are applying it. State the key points you are making and your conclusions.
Introduction: Introduce the topic of your essay by outlining which SLA theories you have chosen and what aspect of language acquisition you are looking at. State why you have chosen the theories and the aspect of language acquisition. This needs to be more than just because I am interested,, i.e. link it to a specific problem that you have come across in the classroom.
Background and Analysis: Provide detailed overviews of the SLA theories and the language acquisition aspect to which you apply it. Use original research papers. Make sure you reference these properly and that they are relevant to the topic that you have chosen. Use appropriate headings and subheadings to structure your Background and Analysis section clearly. It is important that you use criticality when outlining and analysing the research.
Synthesis and Application: Draw together your findings and explain how these would affect your decision making in the investigated teaching context. State clearly why. Again, make sure you use appropriate headings and subheadings for your text.
Conclusion: Write a conclusion that summarises the main findings and of your essay.
References: Provide a list of the sources you have used in the essay.
