Please read the recent WSJ article and watch theCBSN video. write a 500-word reflection piece. https://youtu.be/zVJUCA3ptoY?si=KMLMyFvQtBsbzAd8
The topic for this extra-credit option concerns a Wall Street Journal publication regarding the College Board and its handling of SAT takers’ data. The question you may address in your reflection piece is this: Is it ethically permissible for the non-profit College Board to sell students’ SAT data to colleges for additional revenue and for colleges to buy this data to boost their own exclusivity? Why, why not, under what conditions?
In developing this piece, you should engage the arguments that are presented in class readings. You should defend a specific ethical conclusion by offering three arguments in support of it, explicitly drawing from the theoretical frameworks discussed in class readings.
Here are other requirements for this reflection piece:
– 500 words, with a tolerance of 50 words deviance. That is, the acceptable upper limit for this paper is 550 words and the acceptable lower limit is 450 words. Otherwise, no credits will be granted.
– Times New Roman 12-point, double spaced, APA or MLA citation style.
– Word document with the word count shown on the upper right corner of page 1.
