After carefully watching and analyzing the episode of The Twilight Zone assigned in class, choose one of the concerns about the future raised in the episode. Then, write an essay in which you answer the following questions:
Why was this a concern in the 1960’s? In other words, what was going on in America at the time to make them worried about this happening?
Is this still a concern today? Why or why not?
The first question will provide context for the discussion; the second question will provide you with your thesis for the paper.
Your essay should be an argument with a definite thesis, support for that thesis with evidence drawn from both the episode itself and carefully conducted research, all of which should be interpreted clearly for the audience, and a strong conclusion. Counterargument/refutation is should be included.
Intended audience: Undergraduate students in an academic setting. The tone should be on the formal side.

In order to earn a passing grade, the submission must meet the following requirements:
Minimum length: 4 full pages.
Maximum length: 6 pages.
Style: MLA.
Sources: This essay will required a total of four sources:
The episode itself.
Three other reputable sources.
Dictionary and encyclopedia entries will not count towards these three sources, but you may still use them as extra sources in your paper.
