Throughout the Public Policy and Administration program you have completed activities to build your resume, and to create relationships and collaborative partnerships. Mixed in with those activities has been a host of job postings, internships, and shadowing opportunities.

Be vigilant to potential job opportunities. Entry level positions get your foot in the door where you then have the chance to display your professionalism, attitude, and “approachability.” Employers are always looking for someone that is a good fit for their organization. “Perseverance” is the word of the day. Do not give up on your job search!

In your Job Search Action Plan, if you already have a position, please let me know. If you do not already have a position, explain what type of job you would like to have and where you would like to work. Perhaps your professor can provide some guidance.
