Journal Paper for Review Assignment – Elderly Fraud Prevention by Rebovich & Corbo

Journal Paper Review. (14 percent of final grade, or 70/500 points). Each student is expected to review/evaluate a research paper. I will provide one or more published papers (will not be available until the Week 7 folder becomes available) and you will write an evaluation paper (appreciation and critique) on the provided research paper(s) regarding 1) the research design for the research inquiry, 2) sampling, 3) literature review coverage, 4) hypotheses, and 5) chosen examination methods presented in the research. Look at this assignment as your opportunity to demonstrate the extent to which you have by that point met the relevant learning goals. In your review, not only should you criticize the paper’s strengths and weaknesses, but you are also asked to provide professional opinions on how to improve the research (which should be reasonable and workable from the authors’ perspective). You may examine its context, key concepts, and controversies related to its approach or problem in research design. Your paper will go through a Blackboard plagiarism examination and any main text (while references are normal since many others may cite the same articles you cite in yours) found plagiarized content is subjected to a penalty. Quotations are not welcomed in this paper. Please rephrase and cite them instead. This assignment is due in Week 7. I have attached a copy of the professor’s rubric, which he will be looking for.
