Students will write a Leadership in Film Reflection to further develop the cinematic and leadership themes as presented in the body of work as a whole. This reflection will consist of a synthesis of all films/documentaries reviewed in the course to develop film appreciation through leadership in
Refer back to your notes (Background, Structure, Leadership Theme, Leadership Challenges) for the three (3) films. The following should be addressed in the final reflection paper:
- Among the films/documentaries, discern the artistic means of imagery, music, costume, historical footage, etc., and how the director used the elements to portray the leader/leadership bias and highliant the leader leadersnip issues.
- How did the organizational culture affect the leader(s)?
- How did the leader(s) affect organizational culture and promote adaptability in a climate of change or crisis?
- Identify and evaluate core leadership themes among the three (3) films/documentaries.
- A conclusion in which the student evaluates the body of work and its corresponding themes to inform the potential for innovative change within organizational behavior.
The paper should be written in APA format and 6-8 pages in length, not including title and reference pages. Use of scholarly journals from the UC Library’s electronic resources to support leadership
