- Your essay must have a specific and detailed thesis that clearly states your main points about the texts and the significance of each novel’s expression of the theme(s) engaged with via the connections you discuss.
- Your essay must use specific passages from the works to support your claims.
- You must explain IN DETAIL how your quoted evidence supports your thesis.
- You must explain both how your novels connect to each other AND the significance of each novel’s discussion of whatever theme(s) you have chosen to discuss.
