Literature Review: Challenges that Muslim students face across postsecondary institutions in the United States

  1.  A Captivating Title: That succinctly encapsulates the essence of the review. 
  2. Introduction: Presenting the topic and its significance within higher education, highlighting the necessity for a resource manual for Muslim students. 
  3. Theoretical Framework Discussion: This section should delve into Intersectionality and Critical Race Theory as lenses to understand the multifaceted experiences of Muslim students and the structural dimensions of Islamophobia in higher education, respectively. It should elucidate how these frameworks guide the analysis and synthesis of the literature. 
  4. Synthesis of Literature: An integrative discussion that doesn’t merely summarize individual sources but places them in dialogue with one another, weaving various perspectives into a cohesive narrative. This synthesis should underline the interconnectedness of the sources, drawing multiple references within single paragraphs. 
  5. Conclusion: Articulating the gap identified through the literature review that underscores the need for the proposed resource manual, pointing towards the broader implications of addressing these challenges. 
  6. APA Citations: Ensure all in-text citations and the reference list follow APA format meticulously, with at least ten distinct sources.

The tone of this paper should be academic yet accessible, aiming to reflect a deep understanding of the challenges while fostering an inclusive narrative that underscores the importance of support and equity in higher education. 

 
My project is deeply personal and aims not just to address immediate needs but to serve as a lasting resource that champions inclusivity and understanding. Through this literature review, I aspire to lay a solid groundwork that illuminates the path forward for developing a resource manual that will make a significant impact on the lives of Muslim students and the campus culture at large.
