I have already started this assignment, however i did not finish, these are the instructions.
You are to develop an original research idea on the topic of how political misinformation leads to affective polarization in the United States.
You will conduct enough of a literature review to figure out a gap in the literature that your idea can fill. Then submit the following:
1) A review of the literature on the causes of affective polarization in the United States.
2) A review of the literature on what causes a person to be politically misinformed.
3) A section merging the these two sets of literature together that explains how political misinformation leads to affective polarization in the United States.
4) A statement of your hypothesis.
Submit that document here. Use Chicago Style formatting.
To get a C, each set of literature must contain 10 peer-reviewed sources.
After Submitting this assaignment, the professor said: “This is a nice start. What this needs is more breadth. By breadth I mean that it needs more citations to the most important literature in the field. Cite 5-10 more important works in each of the literatures. As-is, this would get a C/B on the midterm.”
So we need to get this to A+level. I will send you what I have so you can get started. I already have alot of references, i just need you to incoporate them and finish the literature review. What i have written so far is not great so please make it better.
Let me know if you have any questions!
