instructions are below, i will attached the rubric and the small assignment that was before this that relates to it so you have an idea of what I have done.
Patch 2:
Begin by reviewing the literature about your chosen topic. Develop a 3-page paper that demonstrates your deeper understanding of the lived experience of your selected concept for an individual or family living with your chosen persistent illness. Consider the following questions when writing your paper:
- What have you learned?
- What is important for individuals and or families to know to their support self-management or decision making?
- What are helpful or important strategies or lessons learned that can be carried forward into your nursing practice?
Statements within this patch must be supported by evidence and properly referenced.
Maximum 3 pages in length (APA formatting). Page count does not include title page and references.
*Note: You should have at least 5 current references (2017 or later) with at least 3 from within the nursing literature.
Patch 3:
Create an individual design within a 16×16 cm square using any artistic medium or effects you would like to use (individual drawings, photos, painting, images taken from another source, etc.) to visually portray your topic and learnings from completing the patchwork assignment thus far. Upload an image (saved as a JPG file) of your individually completed artwork and 1-page written artistic analysis to the designated drop boxes. See guideline below regarding expectations for artistic analysis.
“Analysis of artwork” does not mean “description of artwork.” To gain an outstanding or excellent grade, students must move beyond stating the obvious and add reflective, personal insight. Students should demonstrate the ability to analyze, evaluate, and synthesize information and ideas. For example, if color has been used to create strong contrasts within the artwork, students might follow this observation with a thoughtful explanation or assumption about why this is the case, e.g. use of colour may be a deliberate attempt by the student to draw attention to a focal point, helping to convey thematic ideas. Do key objects or images have symbolic value or provide a cue to meaning? Discuss all the symbolism depicted in the artwork patch related to your perceptions of the concept. Identify where you obtained your images for your artwork patch (drew the image yourself; used your own photographs, from an online source). Images that are not original (taken or copied from another source) need to be referenced.
Artwork patch must be a 16×16 cm square and uploaded as a JPG file.
Written analysis is maximum 1 page in length (double spaced, 1-inch margins, 12 pt. font) and includes a title. Any references should be in APA format. References may be on a second page.
