Each student will submit a list of 5 scholarly sources for your topic, presented in Chicago Style. 3 of your sources must be books. Wikipedia and blogs are not acceptable sources. At the end of your list, you will include a minimum of two art images that will be the subject of your exploration in your paper, complete with documentation (artist, title, date, and media).
You will succinctly state your thesis. Remember, this is not your topic, but your unique, more focused point of view about your topic. The final Research paper will consist of 5-7 pages with a minimum of two art images and a bibliography or approximately 2000 words presented in Chicago Style. Papers will be typed in Times or Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced, with 1-inch margins all around. Pages should be numbered, and a separate title page included. Bibliography and footnotes (no endnotes or parenthetical refences) should conform to the Chicago Manual of Style format. Papers must be clearly structured, cogent, well written, and conscientiously edited before submission.
