As you know from your identification assignment, stakeholders have various investments and interest levels that directly affect how you need to approach and engage them to ensure their buy-in for implementation of your proposed project. The interprofessional team plays a crucial role in quality improvement in healthcare by leveraging the diverse expertise of various healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and outcomes. - Write a paper identifying the stakeholders for your QI project including the following:Begin with your introductory paragraph. Include your aim statement. Discuss the importance of identifying the key stakeholders. Discuss the importance of compiling an interprofessional project team to help develop and implement the quality improvement project. Begin with listing of your stakeholders. (Don’t name them, just their position in the facility) Begin with listing of your project team. (Don’t name them, just their position in the facility) Remember that not all stakeholders will be on your project team. Stakeholders are people or groups, each with a unique perspective, who have an interest in health care decisions concerning the quality improvement project. The project team is directly involved in development and implementation of the project.
- Engaging Stakeholders: How will you gather their perspectives and stake in the project? How will you get them to buy-in to the project? (Ex: presenting data and evidence for improvement)
- Plan of Communication with the Stakeholder: How will you communicate with the stakeholders to gain and keep interest?
- Addressing Stakeholder Concerns: What is your plan to address their concerns?
- Interprofessional Team Roles: Discuss the project team that will be developing and implementing the project. Include other healthcare disciplines. Ex. nurse, physician, pharmacist, dietician). What skills and knowledge do they bring to the project? What are their roles in the QI project?
- Conclusion: Include a closing paragraph to summarize the project idea, the need for stakeholder support and how stakeholder support is achieved.
- Summarize the need of the interprofessional team in working together to improve patient outcomes and quality improvement initiatives.
- The paper should be APA format and include at least 2 scholarly references It should be 3-4 pages of content with additional title and reference pages
