Case Scenario: Use the facts of the last homework assignment. A young person who commits theft at your office. In this scenario, the Judge from last week’s trial has ruled in favor of the company. However, he has decided that an arbitrator should decide the exact dollar amount that the youth and his/her parents must repay to your business.

ADR Process Components: Your video should include your entire team (if you’re not able to reach one, identify who that is in the submission):
- Opening Statements: Present both sides of the dispute, explaining their positions and desired outcomes.
- Mediation or Negotiation Session: Simulate an attempt to negotiate or mediate a resolution, with one group member acting as the mediator.
- Arbitrator’s Ruling (if unresolved): If no agreement is reached, the arbitrator (another team member) should provide a decision based on the arguments presented.
