Please view a brief video of our very own BCCC Concert Choir singing an arrangement of the National Anthem at a Phillies game. Describe what you are hearing 1) in terms of the four basic properties of sound [Pitch, Intensity, Duration, and Timbre] and 2) how Professor Rochelle Reed,the conductor, uses specific gestures to communicate her interpretation of the score to the performers, as though she were, in effect, “playing the choir” like an instrument.
