As a researcher in the field of developmental psychology, you have the opportunity to study humans using different approaches, including (but not limited to) cross-sectional, longitudinal, and cohort. Each approach is both informative and limiting in its own ways. Address the points below:
- Identify and describe which of the three approaches was implemented in the study described by Helen Pearson in the TED Talk. Provide evidence to show how you came to that conclusion.
- Identify and describe what you felt was the most informative human development finding from the study based on that approach. Explain why you feel this particular finding was so informative.
