- What school have you been placed in? Where is the school located?
- What is the surrounding neighborhood like? Commercial, Residential, Mixed, etc. Do a neighborhood walk. What resources are available in the community?
- What are the demographics of the school? Where did this information come from?
- Look up the NYS report card for the school. How are students doing on Math and Reading tests compared to students in the rest of NYC or the state?
- What kind of school is it? What is the schools philosophy?
- Describe the overall appearance of the school. How is the school organized? How is it run? What kind of school is it?
- Talk a little about the children in your classroom. Ages, cultural backgrounds, are there students with special needs?
- How is the classroom space arranged? Please draw a diagram to illustrate the classroom setup.

Question 7: 8-9 years old, yes there are students with special needs, and The demographic breakdown of the school is as follows: 36% white, 37% Asian, 19% Hispanic and 7% Black. (my classroom around 1/3rd was white, ⅓ was asian, and ⅓ hispanic )
