Below are the instructions associated with this assignment. I’ve also added files from what I worked on leading up to this point to give a better understanding of the topic and some sources I used that you can maybe also include. I’m open to new sources if you can find some. I chose 3 pages because I can make the title page, but I wanted to give you at least the extra page to include any new sources you may find. A little about the topic: I’m creating an argumentive essay for the equality of incentives at the Pittsburgh Recruiting Command. Currently, only the recruiters are getting incentives because they are the only ones supporting the command mission, not the support staff. Bringing awareness that everyone’s work is working towards the same goal but just in a different way is what I’m trying to inform others of. Without support staff, the command will not be the same.
- APA formatting for the document, including an appropriately formatted title page and references page
- A thesis statement at the end of the introduction paragraph
- An introduction paragraph that establishes the issue
- Well-developed paragraphs that include evidence from sources to support your argument for a specific change in your community
- Effective transitions between and within paragraphs
- A conclusion paragraph that brings the essay to an effective close
- Four credible sources appropriate for academic writing should be cited within the text of the essay; at least one of the cited sources should be either a book/ebook or a periodical article
- All cited sources need to have full citations on a references page (except for any interviews you conduct, which only require in-text citations)
- Standard English and a formal tone throughout the writing (e.g., stay in third-person voice, avoid slang, etc.)
- A strong and well-supported argument will be at least 3–4 pages, not including the title page and references page.
