For your midterm assignment you need to watch the movie “The Shape of Water”.  The link for the movie is provided below. 

After watching the movie I would like you to write a 2-3 page reflection on the movie and include at least 3 points that are relevant to the material we have covered so far in class.  Your reflection and discussion can go in many different directions as long as you are tying it back to our content in at least 3 explicit ways.  Feel free to organize your writing based on those three points (use subheadings). 

As a review, we have covered women’s status and power, violence against women, women’s work, policies that impact women, and women in the developing world.  If you are looking for points to talk about please refer to your notes and your text. 

The assignment should be written in APA format and 2-3 pages in length.  There is not a minimum number of references required, but you are expected to cite and reference anything that requires it in your writing.
