A. Text
– 10 pages ± 15% (e.g. 3.200 words). If your paper exceeds the number of pages or falls below 15%, this leads to a
deduction of points.
– Font: Times New Roman, 12pt font size.
– Leave a 5cm margin for corrections on the righthand side.
– Line spacing: 1,5.
– Page numbering: Each page of your paper should be numbered. Front and back matter are to
be numbered with Roman numbers.
– Student Number, the course, the module and the topic of the paper.
– Table of contents with corresponding page numbers. (I will fill these but please leave a page for that.)
Abbreviations and bibliography as back matter. A back
matter requires Roman numerals.
In this program we will use the OSCOLA referencing style. Citations must be clear and
consistent. A guide to the OSCOLA style can be found here:

Please use the abbreviation ibid. to provide a footnote/ reference for a source that was cited
in the preceding footnote. If citing a source which was cited earlier in the paper then cite the
author’s name followed by (n [footnote number]) to refer to the original footnote.
For example:
28 Raz, The Authority of Law, p. 4.
29 ibid, p. 6.
…
34 Raz (n 28). [This indication means that you are referring to the same page as in footnote 28]
