Rewrite – My journey with Youth Effect International (YEI) has profoundly influenced my perspective and ignited a passion for service. As I embark on my academic journey at Bentley University, I am eager to apply my experiences with YEI to further my academic and personal goals. Through YEI, I have had the privilege of extending my philanthropic efforts beyond my local community to address global challenges, particularly in education accessibility. Participating in humanitarian trips to Thailand, Burma, and Vietnam has provided me with firsthand experience in providing essentials to those in need. These experiences have instilled in me invaluable lessons about empathy, cultural sensitivity, and the importance of sustainable solutions. At Bentley University, I aim to deepen my understanding of global humanitarian efforts while acquiring the skills necessary to expand my impact. Bentley’s commitment to interdisciplinary education aligns perfectly with my experiences and aspirations. In particular, I am excited about the opportunities to join clubs like the Marketing Association and the Entrepreneur Society, where I can further develop my skills and network in marketing and entrepreneurship. One of my long-term goals is to leverage the connections I’ve built through YEI and at Bentley University to pursue a career in real estate.
