Sigmund Freud has been recognized as a founding father not only of psychology, but of personality theory. His work regarding psychoanalysis is still a theory and intervention utilized today. He was instrumental in shaping the way in which we look at human nature. For this module, you will read Chapter 2: Sigmund Freud: Psychoanalysis. After reading, please create an original post responding to the following:
- Discuss Freud’s development of the psychoanalytic approach to personality. Include a psychoanalytic thought as it relates to the structure of personality.
- Finally, describe the structure of personality regarding the id, the ego, and the super ego.
