REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POLICY BRIEF
The policy brief must

1) Present a clear and concise summary of the case you’ve chosen, including the roles and priorities of the
major stakeholders and the existing policy landscape and actionable options, as well as a
straightforward and compelling policy recommendation supported by independent research to
be implemented by your chosen audience. 
2) Be be presented in the form of a policy brief, including ALL of these common elements (though they
need not be so named):
I) original title;
II) executive summary/key points;
III) scope of problem/problem statement/introduction/context;
IV) critique of policy options/policy alternatives/potential actions;
V) policy recommendation/recommended action;
VI) references/further reading/recommended reading 
3) Contain around 1500 words of substantive text (exclusive of title, references, captions, etc.).

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS
1) Use a clear structure and layout (for example, executive summary may be 1 and you may add subtitles to make things clear such as 1.1 1.2 etc…)

2) Use graphs/charts/photos/diagrams (as seen in the example policy briefs) for visual design, and creativity 
3) Use some sources please. Although there is not a specified number, some sources would be nice. 
4) Check the files dropped for the specific marking criteria, which is in the matrix. The examples are one you can refer to, and the file named “policy brief” contains the detailed instructions.
