political typology quiz” and the other is the “political party quiz.” For this assignment, students must complete both quizzes and then write a 1-2 page reflection of both quiz results.

There are two quizzes located in the left-side menu bar in Blackboard. One is the “political typology quiz” and the other is the “political party quiz.” For this assignment, students must complete both quizzes and then write a 1-2 page reflection of both quiz results. (You should not need a subscription to the New York Times to complete the second quiz but let me know if there are any issues.)

In order to be eligible to receive full credit for this assignment, students must:

-reflect on what the quiz results showed (what categories you were placed in as a result of your responses,) and what those results mean to you.

-reflect on whether anything in the quiz results did or did not surprise you and why.

-reflect on whether the results of the quizzes provided you with information that can be helpful to you in better understanding your political values. And if not, why not?

You should not, under any circumstances, use your reflection to lament or complain about how biased, limited, or unnuanced, the quizzes were. I am fully aware that as humans you likely have more nuanced views then the quizzes allow you to answer. These are not perfect quizzes by any means, but I would like you to embrace them and answer the questions as best as you can. If you choose to use the assignment to vent about how useless the quizzes are, your grade will suffer as a result.
