I have uploaded the 3 articles along with the paper rough draft of what I have so far please find a way to weave in all of the required information for all three articles and focus a little more on what the papers accomplished and then justify your study and state your research questions and hypotheses.
- Please add the Result section to the MS Word file, which has include the Title page, Introduction, Method, and Reference section. In the Result section, you need to
- reinstate your hypotheses
- interpret and report your statistical results when you address the testable questions. Please report your results in in APA-style.
- Hint: If the Chi-square test is significant, it tells you that at least one linkage is different from other linkages, but could you answer the question of whether or not there is a particular control-display relationship that can be a predominant population stereotype? Read Shinar & Acton’s paper (i.e., Result Section) and review how they analyze, interpret, & report the results.
- summarize your results by presenting it in the form of a table or figure, similar to the format of Table 1 in Shinar & Acton’s paper. The table/figure should have columns for your results, and should not include raw data.
- Write a Discussion section. The Discussion section is to interpret your results. In this section, you should include a summary of your main findings, your interpretation of the data, and a synthesis of the findings with previous research. The following questions should serve as a guild that helps you write your discussion section.
- Is there any evidence for a population stereotype? Compare the results of your study to previous studies. –2pts
- Based on your results, indicate whether your study replicated what Shinar & Aton (1978) found in the traditional four-burner design. –1pt
- Do you think your study showed this stereotype in the new cooker’s 4-burner design? –1pt
- Compare the results of this study to those of your own experience (your countertop or those you see in the stores). –1pt
- Are cooker manufacturers producing products that match people’s expectations? –1pt
- Does the most frequent layout have the highest average confidence rating? –1pt
- Is the newer counter-top range superior in terms of confidence ratings? –1pt
- The implications of your findings, recommendations for future design, limitations of this study (factors may influence the results), and future research/design. — 2pts
- You may want to update your Method section by including details on the age, race, and gender of participants in this study.
