The purpose of the final digital presentation is to be able to create and communicate information academically and professionally in a digital format. Potential digital formats include slide presentation, podcast, video/animation, webpage, etc. You can use the INTEC Course Guide: Technology Tools page to select a digital presentation tool, though you are not limited to the options listed there. Remember that we also listed tutorials and other digital presentation tool options in our Week 10 Discussions as well.
- The digital presentation and what you present in class should be based on your research question that you have been working with throughout the semester, but turned into a thesis statement.
- A thesis statement will usually discuss a current issue or problem that exists either in the career / industry you plan to go into, your major here at FDU, or related to a personal passion project (essentially, any issue or problem that you are passionate about) and your solution or ways to help address and/or overcome the issue or problem.
- Your presentation should also have a works cited with MLA formatting (basically your Portfolio 4 annotated bibliography minus the annotations plus any additional citations that you have added since completing Portfolio 4).
- You should submit the Works Cited as a Word document that accompanies your digital presentation document or link.
- If you are doing a Powerpoint presentation (or something similar like a Canva or Visme presentation or a website), you can include your Works Cited within the presentation or website, but I would also like your Works Cited as a Word document too.
- Your presentation should be about 5 minutes long.
