You can choose the theme: The legal framework of marine scientific in international waters or another as you can assist.
The objective of the second assignment is directly in
relation with the dissertation you need to write. You are asked to apply the
methodology given during the course on how to choose and write a
dissertation.
You are asked to present a research project. This
project must contain the following elements:
Project title, background and literature review, rationale of project,
aim, methodology, timetable and bibliography.

circumstances) will result in a zero mark being recorded.
On
successful completion of this module students will be expected to be able to:
1. Synthesize information from a variety of sources to
form coherent arguments and relate research findings to legal policy and
Practice.
2. Critically evaluate research findings and present
reasoned outcomes.
3. Evaluate a variety of
approaches and methodologies to legal research and critically review and
interpret quantitative and qualitative law-related data in the context of
writing a research proposal
4. Prepare a logical, critical, and sustained argument,
using referencing, citations bibliographies, and quotations in the appropriate
manner.
5. Develop a research proposal appropriate for a Master’s
level independent research project, which demonstrates both epistemological and
theoretical considerations

your assignment a complete reference list which must conform to the Harvard or
OSCOLA referencing system
