I am taking a class called Race and religion in the Transatlantic. I am an honors student and my professor, a Jesuit priest, wants me to do research for him to get the honors credit. He told me to do research for the National Conference on Religion and Race. the link is here:

He also told me look at this: 

 “Commonweal” (in the periodical section) 
“America” — this is the Jesuit periodical (in the periodical section) 
“The New York Times” (but I’m not sure how to access the back issues… you may have to log-in to the library web site?) 
“Readers’ guide to periodical literature” (I have not gone over to see if this item is in the stacks or on a CD)

The Readers Guide Retrospective database is the digital version of the old green volumes and indexes the periodical literature up to 1982. It doesn’t include full text, but it will get you the citations.
