At your field site look out how you
work with other agencies, how do those agencies work with you? Think of
the web of interactions in the practice of criminal and social justice.
This is for field experience for criminal justice. This involves ride a longs, citizen contacts, going on calls, etc. The population of this villiage is a little over 1200, but they are also contracted out to work for 2 other nearby smaller communities with a population of about 300 each. They work closely with county law enforcement to provide calls for service to these areas. They have their own fire department. They utilize a county dispatcher for communications. The government in the villiage is made up of appointed trustees.

should ensure reporting and payment of withholding and excise taxes and,
of course, encourage the issuance of annual reports and publications to
the public.
town board of trustees is also responsible for adopting the annual
budget and appropriation ordinance for the town, general assistance, and
road and bridge funds. The trustees are also responsible for approving
all town expense and auditing bills submitted for payment by the highway
commissioner.
