Professional Organization Research –

Research a professional organization that is relevant to your career. NOT A COMPANY.  There are professional organizations in most every field.  These groups provide many resources for career assistance and advancement.  It should be an organization specific to your field or one that is relevant to your field. Examples: Professional accounting organizations, Women in Business, Human Resource organizations, etc.)

 Provide:

            A brief history of the organization

            A summary of the career types/fields of their members

            A summary of how to join and the cost to join the organization

            A summary of how you believe this organization could be helpful to your career

This should be in paragraph, essay format.  Double spaced, Indent 1 tab for paragraphs, 12 pt font, New Roman.
