For this week’s discussion board, you will discuss and summarize your Experimental Design Project with other members of the class. Respond to the following questions in an original post of no less than 250 words. Next, respond to the posts of TWO other students in no less than 50 words each.
- Was it difficult to find research for this project using the PsycINFO database? No. I was able to use the “AND” statement to help me drill down to where I needed to get to. I intentionally added filters to ensure I was getting recent research on my specific topic, ” Teacher Expections” and “Classroom Behavior”
- If so, in what ways was it difficult? Did you find more or fewer articles on the topic than you had initially expected? (Included in no. 1)
- In this project, we are seeking to improve classroom behavior among middle school students.
- What measurement approaches did you consider for this project? (Remember, this is about students and their behavior; see p. 158 to review what to consider when determining measurement approaches).
