research paper deliverable 4 – Primary Study Selection based on Abstract Reading

At this point, you already have your search queries and the four databases where you will execute your searches. You can find this information in your submission for the following assignment: CSIT 590: Research Paper Deliverable 2 – Search Queries and Databases

For this deliverable (i.e., Deliverable 3), you will now submit the results of your search execution and paper selection based on reading the paper titles. Please follow the steps below:
1 Step 1: Create four Excel workbooks for the four databases. rename the workbooks as:
 ◦ ACM_Title-Search
 ◦ IEEE_Title-Search
 ◦ ScienceDirect_Title-Search
 ◦ GoogleScholar_Title-Search
2 Step 2: In each of the workbooks you will have multiple tabs (tabs are also called worksheets in Excel). The number of tabs will be based on the number of search queries you have created. So, if you have four queries, each workbook will have four tabs.
 ◦ Name the tabs: Query1, Query2, Query3, and so on.
3 Step 3: Each tab should have the following column headers:
 ◦ Serial No.
 ◦ Study Title
 ◦ Authors
 ◦ Publication Venue
 ◦ Publication Year
 ◦ Weblink
 ◦ Abstract
4 Step 4: Now, you will execute each query on all four databases.
 ◦ When you execute the query, you should first check and make sure that the results are sorted by relevance.
 ◦ Next, make sure the publication year range is changed to: 2010 – present
 ◦ Next, if you have more than 50 results, then you will only look at the top 50 results.
 ◦ You will go down the search results and only read the paper titles for this deliverable.
 ◦ When you see a paper title that feels relevant to your research questions, you will copy the information for that paper in your Excel workbook (in the tab dedicated to that query).

Following the process above for all four databases will result in four Excel workbook (with each workbook containing 3-4 tabs based on the number of search queries you developed). Once you are done, you will submit the four Excel workbooks at this link.
I ALREADY CREATED THESE “WORKBOOKS” ON GOOGLE DOCS HE HELPED US CREATE N SET EVERYTHING UP I CAN SHARE THE GOOGLE DOC WITH YOU SO YOU CAN PUT THE WORK ON THERE . IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE 30 ARTICLES EACH BUT AS MANY RELEVANT RESEARCH ARTICLES THAT CAN BE FOUND HE SAID ITS OKAY IF IT REPEATS IT SELF FROM EACH WEBSITE (GOOGLE SCHOLAR , IEEE, ACM, SCIENCE DIRECT) BECAUSE LATER ON I WILL GO BACK AND TAKE OUT THE REPEATED ONES. I ATTACHED THE PREVIOUS ASSIGNMENT YOU DID FOR THIS TO HELP YOU OUT
