1b. Annotated Bibliography of at least two (2) sources you used in your research so far.
The annotations for each of your sources must include:
(a) bibliographic information (author, title, etc.) properly formatted in Chicago Author-Date Style
(b) a 200-250 word summary of the relevant content and why/how it was useful to you in
developing part 1 of the paper.
See this link for some basic information about Annotated Bibliographies (Disregard the
APA/MLA format stuff) When you start looking for sources, check out the POL Library Guide to
view reliability and ideological slant of sources.
Again, you must use Chicago Manual of Style Author-Date format for the sources cited in parts
1 and 2 of this paper assignment, as well as for the final paper’s in-text citations and reference
list. See these resources here at Mendocino College and CSUSB for formatting details. This
sample paper in Chicago Author-Date style should be helpful as well. If you use an online
citation generator, be sure to double check the results before finalizing your reference list.
