Objective: Review the Environmental Studies, Ethics, Ideas, and Nature LibGuide and assess
the sources for one of the topics below. Identify a gap where additional sources are needed. This
gap could be related to a particular time period, place, perspective, source type, etc. Overall, the Libguide aims to represent resources written by authors underrepresented in the environmental field/canon-women,non-whites, Indigenous, LGBTQ+, disabled-about one of the main topics covered during our course.
•Explain the common perspectives, time frames, locations, etc. of the current sources on the LibGuide for your chosen topic.
•This serves as your literature review.
•Describe the gap you have identified and why it is significant.
•Summarize the main ideas and arguments for the three additional sources you have
found. What perspectives, ideas, and insights do the three resources you found add to the
conversation about the topic?
•Analyze your three sources within the context of our course. What would these
sources add to the conversation about the chosen topic in our course? How do
they augment the readings we have done already?
•In your conclusion, describe the challenges you encountered while researching andexplain helpful search tips and sites.
