Thesis Statement
Many individuals overlook investment opportunities exasperated by minimum investment requirements, the complexity and continuous evolution of financial products, and inadequate financial literacy initiatives.
Mission
Empowering individuals by encouraging saving habits enabling them to seize investment opportunities.
Vision
Creating a world where individuals, irrespective of their financial literacy or income level, can build their wealth and achieve their financial aspirations.
Our proposal
The proposed mobile app’s primary feature is a round-up system that saves and invests spare change from transactions, i.e., a user purchasing a 15-dirham coffee daily could round up the amount to 20 for saving purposes.
The platform will collaborate with various investment companies and robo-advisors to provide users with investment opportunities across low, medium, and high-risk categories, including ETFs, stocks, and bonds. The rounded-up amount will be automatically invested every month into the investment option selected by the user. Additionally, the app will offer educational content and tools to assist users in making informed financial decisions.
Business Model
The round-up feature will round up everyday purchases to the nearest Dirham or a set increment. It will then transfer the change to a savings wallet until the wallet reaches a certain amount then the saved amount will automatically be invested in a robo-advisory or sent back to the bank account if the user has opted to invest through their bank.
The mobile app will link all bank accounts and credit cards to the round-up app, which will allow the app to track all the transactions and calculate spare change accordingly. The app will also provide a dashboard that allows users to track their savings and investment, as well as additional features which can only be accessed through a subscription.
