Rough Draft The negative effects of social media of children ages 6-12 years old

 

Compile your entire essay up to this point into a single APA formatted document. Your rough draft should be the revised versions of each individual component (Problem Statement, Literature Review, Conclusion, and Reference page) because I’ve given you feedback on each assignment to improve the whole.

Assemble your Rough Draft, by combining the following assignments (revised according to instructor feedback):

  • Title Page 
    • Page Number
    • Title of Paper
    • Name
    • Program and Academic Affiliation
    • Course prefix and course name
    • Instructor’s Name
    • Due Date
  • Problem Statement (1 page)
    • Give a statement of the problem being researched. The statement should clearly identify the impact on children and assert the need for change.
    • Give relevant background to frame the history and current status of the problem.
  • Literature Review (2-3 pages)
    • Include introductory and concluding paragraphs and at least four peer-reviewed sources
    • Include article summaries and syntheses of key ideas and concepts, organized by subheading
  • Conclusion (1-2 pages)
    • Restate the problem with key findings of the literature review.
    • Identify and describe the outcome(s)/answer(s) that were discovered in the research
    • Identify the relevant Child Development stakeholders and apply each solution to them.
    • This section should clearly indicate the value and use for the research data that has been presented in the paper.
  • References Page 
    • List each source that you cited in your paper in proper APA style & format.
    • Page Numbers
    • Heading
    • Proper Indentation
    • Refer to APA Resources for help.

Use transitions and headings to make the argument a cohesive narrative. 

Refer to the Week 8 Research Argument Rubric as a checklist as you revise and compile the Rough Draft.

Submissions that include all the required sections (listed above), will be eligible for full credit.

Be sure to submit your assignment by the due date in order to receive timely feedback to apply to the final draft.

You have all completed your conclusions so far and the document is ready to be put together into your first Rough Draft. You are not writing a new document with new information but compiling all of the writing you’ve done so far into a cohesive draft. Make any necessary modifications and improvements suggested in the feedback section of your assignments. Make sure the formatting aligns with APA format and your references are in order. 

The Rough Draft is due on Friday October 18th, 2024

Including the Title and Reference page, your Rough Draft should be between 6-9 pages long.
