What I decided for essay title is “Shaping Gender-Inclusive Societies Through Technology: Insights from The Left Hand of Darkness”
And
1. Gender Diversity and the Role of Technology
- Description: On Gethen, individuals do not have a fixed gender and can transition between genders during their reproductive cycle. This challenges binary notions of gender. In comparison, modern technologies like AI, medical advancements, and bioengineering open possibilities for more fluid and diverse gender identities.
- Key Points:
- The implications of Gethen’s gender dynamics for modern society.
- How technology can foster or hinder the acceptance of gender diversity.
Here’s the outline I’ve drafted for my essay. The primary book I decide is “The Left Hand of Darkness.” In the book, the alien beings are considered a third gender, and my professor suggested writing about this concept in relation to reproduction. In other words, this essay aims to explore the intersection of diversity and technology, with my main focus on gender as the lens for diversity and the influence of technological advancements on gender dynamics. I also think it would be a good idea to delve deeper into specific technologies and their impact.
I hope you can write an essay based on the grade sheet I uploaded
If there are any other good ideas, I’m open to revising this approach.
If there are any questions and I have to add on it, please let me know.
Thank you for helping.
