Task Description
This assignment requires you to review several important papers discussing Indigenous worldviews and Indigenous knowledge perspectives. You are to read each of the papers (find them in your MyReadings), collect additional sources and write a short response to each of the questions below. These short responses should follow the academic style and APA referencing style. Please visit  SCU Guide to Short Responses before starting your assignment.  
Task Instructions
Read each of the following papers and write 2 short pieces (500 words each) addressing each of the following questions. Make sure to incorporate at least 2 additional references in each.  Provide a single reference list at the end of your assignment.  The readings below are  available in Myreadings under your unit Blackboard site. 
 a) Read – Mary Graham (2008) “Some thoughts about the philosophical underpinnings of Aboriginal worldviews.” 
  Guiding question: Briefly describe the Aboriginal kinship connections and relationships between human and non-human entities. 
  
b) Read – Ambelin Kwaymullina (2005) “Seeing the Light: Aboriginal Law, Learning and Sustainable Living in Country”. 
Guiding question: Briefly discuss Aboriginal law, and its relationship to the country and identify several opportunities for the application of Indigenous knowledge for sustainable living.
