In a bizarre turn of events, you were just hired to create a school (even though you didn’t apply for this position). It is time to sit down with the board and discuss your vision for the school. The board wants to hear about their options. You just learned about Piaget and Vygotsky and their view of cognitive development.
For both Vygotsky’s Theory of Social Development and Piaget’s Stage Theory of Cognitive Development, describe the following:
a) how do people learn (1 point)?
b) what environment facilitates students learning (1 point)?
c) what role do teachers have in student learning (1 point)?

4) Analyze what sort of impact this culture has on modern teenagers. Is it positive or negative and why? (1 point)
5) Respond to at least one person’s analysis of a culture. Do you agree/disagree with this assessment and why? Do you think this culture is a positive or negative for modern adolescents? (1 point)
