Teaching Project

Guidelines
Students will develop teaching project relevant to cancer care. This assignment may vary in format depending on the particular focus of the student. Teaching projects may be developed for patient/family education or staff education. Each student must discuss the format and dimensions of the project in advance with the instructor.
Examples of projects include a paper on clinical teaching issue,
Development of patient teaching brochure,
The following must be included and sufficiently developed to review the paper or project:
1. An introduction which identifies the objective of the project, limitations of the project, which suggests how the project will be evaluated.
2. A review of the literature which provides support for the development of the teaching project.
3. Include the project (or brochure)
4. Reference list
5. A copy of the project/brochure must be sent to the relevant clinical unit.
