As a criminal justice professional, you must learn how to write an academic research paper. In this class, you will write an academic research paper. For the Research Paper: Midterm Assignment, start by developing your position/argument on the approved topic and create 2-3 major points in support of that topic as a well-written thesis statement, and a preview of points. Please use this as your abstract.
Furthermore, you must still utilize course and external resources as necessary to support your process. You can feel free to add in “flare” such as pictures, charts, graphs, and weblinks if you believe it enhances your investigative presentation. For all sources, you MUST have proper APA citations both in-text for paraphrasing/quotations and a reference page. Give photo credits where appropriate.
