I haven’t been to school in years and I need this essay to get into Stellar College diagnostic medical program. I hope what I provided is enough.
- My name is Jasmine Broadnax and I’m 26 years young. I’m from Chicago born and raised on the south side. I graduated from CICS Ralph Ellison in 2015. I attended Richard Daley College for a couple of months before dropping my classes to take care of my grandmother who had stage 2 breast cancer.
- My decision to pursue a career in ultrasound was heavily influenced by my personal experience during pregnancy. Witnessing the sonographer’s skill in capturing images l left a lasting impression on me. I realized the crucial role that ultrasound plays in health care & I wanted to be a part of that.
- Now is a good time for me because I have a very strong support system behind me and I’m not employed right now as well so I have a lot of time to focus on school. I saw that the tentative classes are 3 days a week and that’s perfect for me.
- I believe it will feel great to just have the ability to ensure every patient receives the best possible care. I love the thought of helping someone get back to their normalcy or movement. My images can really provide direct treatment and valuable information for variety of conditions and diseases. It’s truly a blessing.
