The proposal must have three parts:
1. Main proposal – consisting of an introduction, form of methodology being used, aims and objectives of the study, and research ethics
2. Literature review – eight scholarly and/or musical sources that pertain directly to the topic. This summary must talk about this literature that already exists on the given topic and what gaps the study will be able to fill in with it
3. Annotated Bibliography – Using the four sources given in the files below, write a 300 word summary (for each one, adding up to 1200 total for all four) arguing why the source is useful for the research and what can be improved about it within our new research.
The main proposal and the literature review should add up to 1800 words with the annotated bibliography coming out to 1200, so 3000 words total minimum. Everything should be written and cited in Harvard style and this is for a master’s program so please be as scholarly as possible. I will provide an outline of topics that the student would like mentioned as well in the files below.
