You will be presenting to your board of directors on the importance of CSR initiatives in the company you chose in Week 1. In the first four weeks of this course, you identified various elements of the CSR initiatives you need to address and their value to the organization’s triple bottom line. Here, you will present the culmination of that work in a PowerPoint presentation that includes speaker notes and the relevant research.
Explain the importance of adopting a CSR strategy to the company, including how it can positively impact the triple bottom line and its future sustainability.
Evaluate the impact of CSR on market and nonmarket stakeholders.
Provide an overview of the state of the industry, including an analysis of a competitor’s strengths and weaknesses in CSR initiatives.
Present at least one equity issue that you will address for the board.
Describe at least two CSR initiatives to be implemented.
Explain why your CSR initiatives going forward are critical to long-term viability of the company.
Identify the potential for negative ramifications from not adopting a CSR strategy.
Discuss why the company should fund such initiatives to present stewardship of assets to the company as well as the society in which it functions.
Propose a strategy to implement your suggested initiatives.
In addition to designing slides, you must also include slide notes (also called Speaker Notes). For each slide, your Speaker Notes should contain a minimum of 100 words describing and expanding on the content.
