Both ancient literary works are included in your textbook, The Compact Anthology of World Literature, Part 1. Each of these ancient manuscripts conveys a great flood narrative with some similarities and differences. Read and compare both accounts and compose a 500 to 1,000-word comparative literary analysis outlining the similarities and differences between the two tales and provide insight as to how and why these two similar stories co-exist in ancient literature. Cite the two primary sources, and, in addition, reference at least one secondary source that offers scholarly analysis to the topic.
