The goal of our capstone discussion is to open up a space for you to take stock of all you have learned about natural science and evolution in eight short weeks, and to share your knowledge and perspectives with us.
Instructions
Please review your Reading Apprenticeship Monitoring Conceptual Change worksheet, which I asked you to work on in weeks two (writing assignment 1) and four (writing assignment 3). I also suggested that you revisit the worksheet in week seven. In addition, please review the curriculum that most intrigued or challenged you, and the assignments you are most proud of.
Then, answer the following questions in your own words. Be as thorough and precise as possible. Be sure to define all scientific terms and back up your perspective with evidence.

What have you learned about the natural scientific approach and the evidence supporting evolutionary hypotheses that most intrigues you?
If your conception of evolution, or natural scientific methods, has changed, explain why and how, citing particular studies and data. If your conception of evolution has not changed, explain why, citing particular studies and data that confirmed your conception.
What, if any, questions or issues did the course raise for you that you would like to pursue going forward?
